Halloween Crafts for Kids…

Halloween-Crafts-for-Kids

Ah, crafting with children.  It was one of my dreams as a mother, to spend endless afternoons creating diorama, paper plates into characters, and the like.

Monkey loves to scribble with markers and leave the caps off. He paint on walls when I look the other way.  Moose has zero interest in artistic endeavors, much like his Daddy.

I craved art as a child, but my piss poor elementary school did not have an art teacher. I begged my mom for art classes, and it was never “in the budget”.

So what a kid to do?  Good Will Hunting it of course.  I had an uncle who dabbled in cartooning, and I recall him giving me a cartooning book that I still own. I followed his lead, drawing for hours.  I think, in the not-so-distant future, I’m going to start forcing myself to share my sketchbook here.  To keep me, accountable…

So, if you have artistically-inclined littles at home, my parner-in-crime Karen and I have rounded up some really fun Halloween Crafts for Kids over at The Classroom Creative that I hope, in the ghosts of Halloween future, I will need to reference for my boys…

Sir Moose was sent home sick today, so my creating was put on pause…

More Halloween fun to come,

Nicolette
