Creative Juice #51 {features and linkup}

I am fashionably late this lovely Thursday morning. I actually fell asleep typing at my computer last night…

I’m in the holiday home stretch right now.  Still have many a gift to MAKE not buy.  Teacher’s gifts are due tomorrow because tomorrow is Moose’s last DAY OF SCHOOL! Did you see my post last night about the teacher gift do’s and don’ts {given that I was a former teacher and all}
 Gah.  I need three more weeks.   Why?
1.) The annual “Grizwold” family Christmas calendar is still sitting in my Kodak account.  Dropped the ball on that one.
2.)  Christmas cookies still not made.
3.) Materials for the gingerbread house still at the store.
4.) My kids still haven’t watched the Grinch or Charlie Brown {although my copy of Charlie arrived yesterday in the mail}.
5.) We didn’t go to the Winter Wonderfest at Navy Pier yesterday, because I was feeling like crap.
We have no school next week, {lucky us, right?}, so I plan to get busy checking off our Christmas Bucket List, and maybe even some ideas from my 2010 Epic Holiday Fail.
Now, to showcase some of your genius…

  3. Hi,
    I shared my famous grain-free party franks. I also shared an article about an ethical debate on whether or not pediatricians should treat their unvaccinated patients. Also a list of my favorite holiday gift ideas.

    Thanks for hosting!

    Thank you sooo much for the feature, Nicolette! Much love from my penny-pinching heart! :p Hope you’re able to cross some things off your list. (www.partiesforpennies.blogspot.com)

    Hi! I shared my recipe for homemade laundry detergent. ALL store-bought name brands (and grocery knock-offs) contain carcinogens and toxic chemicals they are not required to print on the label. This DIY detergent recipe works just as well as the name brands, and better than most eco brands–plus it’s safe and very cheap. Enjoy!

    Beautiful features! I linked up a few more Christmas crafts! So many great ideas here!

  7. I haven’t started my baking yet either… but the longer I put it off, the fresher it’ll be for Christmas Day, right?! Thanks for hosting!

  8. Hi, Nicolette. I shared a sauerkraut recipe, a pecan tassies recipe, a coconut baskets recipe, and a chocolate wafer cookies recipe today. Thank you for hosting us again and have a great week!
