WIWW: Outfit: The Summer Wind

It’s been quiet around these parts.  I’ve been working my tail off at The Classroom Creative, settling back into the school grind for Moose, AND gearing up for the biggest garage sale ever in two weeks.  Like we are talking, purging galore.  Hoping to raise funds for my new camera.
Stay tuned for many a organizing and Halloween project in the next two months.
Now, onto why you are reading today.
Even though Chicago is named The Windy City for different reasons, sometimes, you need a cardigan to bear the shift in temperatures, especially when you are near the lake.
Here’s the outfit in total:
Once I hit 30, I’ve fallen in love with belts.  I detested them in my teens and 20s.
Long live the sparkle shoe.
Like belts, I’m obsessed with all things flowery for the earrings.
I have an affinity to daisies, especially gerberas.
Details:
All above clothes are old.
Shirt: Ancient from H & M.
Leggings: So old I wore them preggo with Moose.
Cardigan: I dunno.
Earrings: Forever 21
But these shoes you need for fall.  $19.99.  No blisters.  Promise.
They add glam to even your oldest clothes.

  1. Love the outfit! and I have 2 pair of glitter shoes myself! ;) it’s a girl thing….

  2. Those shoes are super cute! Thanks for the tip…they will be really versatile for fall!

  3. Love your outfit! I always liked belts, but never those large ones that you wear above your pant waist line… until a few years ago. I love them so much now :)

  4. Great outfit! I am just rediscovering belts myself. I’m a little shy about wearing them though, even though 2 of my three photographed outfits have a belt this week.
