Hello, everyone! Thanks to all who shared at the party last week.

Despite my snarky anti-rules, I was reading that it’s rather bad for SEO if I feature people who don’t link back to me.

Now, I cry.

Ah, that’s why google doesn’t love me back.  An unrequited love at best.

So my snark will continue, but with an exception.  From this week forward, I will only feature bloggers who have a hyperlink to my site on their linked up post.


I’m laying down the law, folks.

You know, like every other linky out there.  So, I totally get all the rule touting parties now.

Whatever.  I’m still the renegade anti-host, right?  That’s why you come here, afterhours and all.

As far as SEO goes, I guess the googlebots like hyperlinks better than buttons.  So, use those instead of the pretty buttons.  Just a little SEO fun fact for your Sunday.

It’s bad for your blog {and the host’s} NOT to link back.
