WIWW: Outift-School’s Out. School’s Out.

Moose’s last day of preschool was today.

Mama dressed up for the occasion.
The Monkey was up-all-night with night terrors again.  So, this chic hairstyle is courtesy of not showering due to sleep deprivation.
My sunglasses are big to hide the maternal exhaustion.

The jacket was a must, as it was barely 70 degrees here today.  Moose’s therapy clinic is near the lake, and it can get a wee bit chilly.  Hence the phrase here in Chicago, “cooler by the lake”.

I will never rid of this tunic.  It feels like silk.  I will be 80 years old and still rocking it.



Check back in 50 years and see if my word is good. It will be grandmomnivore to you then.
We can have tea and sit on the step of my brownstone. Talk about the good old days of iPhones and blogs.

My obsession with clay and making rings continues.As soon as I can drop the boys at Nana’s and focus on writing copy for my etsy shoppe,  Touch Blue Design.

In the meantime, I wear my pretties.

God, I need a fancy pants camera.  I love photography.  And photo editing.

I can’t get enough of these shoes.  I searched Targets high and low for a 6.5.  Behold.  My gems.

Jacket:  Ancient.  From the Gap.
Tunic: Scored at TJ Maxx last summer for $15.
Leggings:   ?  Ancient.  Worn during pregnancy with Moose.
Ring & Earrings: Made by yours truly.  {coming soon to Touch Blue Designs}
Shoes:  You must own these. Sonya flats from Target.

They can take an ordinary outfit up a notch.  No blisters either, which is always a plus when you score flats for $20.  Plus, the skin color elongates my 4’11″ frame.
