Hi. Welcome back to another edition of What I Wore Wednesday. Where I vow to get out of my yoga pants and attempt to get dressed. Occasionally. I’m not making any promises here.
Hopefully, my feeble attempts inspire you to do the same, should you rock the stay-at-home mom {or dad!} lifestyle or work from home like I do.
Because dropping your kid off at preschool in pajamas is a sign of a total slacker. Especially if you forgot to brush your teeth or hair.
Take some pride in yourself. Join the masses of showered, dressed people.<
My secret? Even though I’m 32, I shop where the teens do. And sometimes, the kid section at Old Navy. I’m 4’11″ and some change. On a good day.
Forever 21 isn’t just for your teenaged neighbor. Behold, this $7.80 beauty.

This necklace, WAS new. It was love at first sight.
Unfortuntely, my turquoise beauty was killed hours after said playdate by my son Moose. He’s developed a penchant for ripping necklaces from my neck like a ninja mugger. Ah, the many joys of autism.
May the beads rest in peace. {Of course, I still have them. They will have a afterlife soon. I have a box full of busted beads at this juncture due to my evil offspring.
Here’s the rest of the outfit I wore to a playdate at my cousin’s house.

This outfit is leftovers from the last few seasons. Blue is my favorite color, so I can’t seem to part with this top. The DIY cutoffs were favorite jeans of mine that were worn til they shredded in the knee, so voila, shorts.
Don’t you love the patina on my 1938 mirror? It’s the only full-length in my home…
These sandals are made for walking, and that’s just what they’ll do. It’s late. Whatever.

Ever since I turned 30, I’m a sucker for anything embellished with flowers. My 20 year old leopard wearing self is smirking.
For wedges, these Born gold beauties are the most comfortable and wearable with kids, ever. If I have to take off running after my boys, I can sprint in these puppies.
Lucky me, scored on clearance at Marshalls for $29 at the end of last summer. Still cute and in amazing condition.
Here’s what I could muster for ya’ll:
Sandals: similar here
Top similar here
Jean shorts: Get thee a pair of scissors and DIY them.
Necklace: I’m too sad to talk about it.
See you back next week.
Permitted my sons don’t color my whole wardrobe with Sharpie.
The End.

I love the necklace – too bad your son broke it, but thank goodness it can easily be fixed! Maybe you need to start beading your necklaces on thick wire so he can’t break them haha! Cute outfit!
LOVE this one! Such a pretty necklace!
LOVE, LOVE, LOVE! It is all fabulous!
I would be absolutely honored to have you link this up on my Casual Friday link up party that started yesterday, it would be perfect!
Thanks!
