back when i was a young ingenue getting my feet wet in teaching, a parent mentioned to me to always keep a smile file. it was one of those pieces of advice in passing that has stuck with me all these years…
so amid my tax papers and bank statements rests a bland manila folder with bits of happiness from my former students {now oddly grown in college and such} and life in general.
why not have one for the blog? the spaces, ideas, and places i haunt often and happen to stumble upon.
i give to you, the randomness online that makes me happy.

I love the beach shadowbox, next time we go on vacation I’ll try to remember to bring back something for the box:) Usually I am so ruthless I try to buy nothing and not bring anything home, otherwise it just becomes “stuff”.
