I’ve made a list of
home goals.
a life list.
but I ran across a post at the lettered cottage
that made me step back a second
and realize
it’s best to set an intention for the year.
just like my yoga teacher
has us do, before a class
this year,
it is possible my son will recover from autism
it is possible for me to regain all of my energy and health.
it is possible to find balance between home and work.
it is possible to do what I love and make an income
it is possible to pay off the remainder of my student loans.
it is possible to stay organized and have a budget again.
it is possible…
Possible is open-ended to me.
and even if you fail, have a terrible, horrible, really bad day,
things have a way of still being possible.
Have you set a word for the year?
Check out: the lettered cottage’s word of the year party.

Anything is possible doll. You’ll get through all of this and more
Just pray.
I’m right there with you on the student loans thing though. Seriously the biggest pain in the rear ever. Never again will I pull out school loans and I won’t let my kids do it either (the kids thing is in the far future though. My daughter is only 2 lol).
My word for the year is BELIEVE. There is nothing like “believing” everything will happen the way it should and “believing” God will get you through anything.
Possible is a beautiful word. You should paint it and and hang it to see every day. I also like Hope.
Great post! Love the word you chose. So often it feels like climbing a mountain, but possibility is always there. We’re still paying off the hubs’ student loans with our 15 yr old only a few years away from college. Student loans are a killer.
Nicolette,
With a word like “possible” as your choice you must then join our “Imagine the Impossibilities” challenge …
… and I think us Chicago blogging ladies should be getting together on the 25th …
