Greatest Hits of 2011: Personal Edition

Back again with yet another edition of 2011′s wrap up.  If you are new here, check out some of the oldies, but goodies.

The day Moose received “the label”.

and on a far less serious note…

I hired a new babysitter when the boys stopped napping.

I shocked the world when I unleashed the secret of how I got my boys to adore kale.

Monkey and I took a field trip to mourn the loss of our only neighborhood bookstore.

I ditched the family, and I took myself on a very hot date.  One of many through out 2011.  In 2012, I resolve to do one a month.  You should as well.

I passed my love of painting along to the Monkey.

and then Moose started special ed PreK.
and mama got all nostalgic and sad.

I come clean about my own struggles with my health.

Four is a Magic Number:
My Letter to Moose on his Birthday.

The first time, I really wrote about my dad.
In memoriam.

The Sunny Side of Autism {advice to new moms}

and we leave 2011 with a ray of hope.

Moose is found to have CMV.  A virus that can be helped.

2011 was a time of transition.
New preschools.
Autism labels.
Ignorant doctors with egos the size of Brazil.
Bad health.
Medical bills galore. Fighting insurance companies.
But there were moments of joy.
Monkey saying I love you, Mama.
Moose trying to put on his shoes and clean up after himself.
In 2012, I choose gratitude and joy only.
Nothing negative.
Coming soon, my life list for 2012 and beyond.
There’s something about January that makes me kick life into overdrive.
