Hope you all aren't in the humdrums of the post-Christmas and holiday season.
I'm not.
Last year, I've retrained myself to LOVE winter. The soups. The epic amount of crafting. The winter walks. The blizzards. The annual New Year's Eve bash with our good friends, Woody and Karen {incidentally who blogs at Goodbye-City, Hello Suburbs.
I've even embraced my pale, pasty skin in honor of my favorite vampire.
Now, onto the highlighted posts from last week:

I've been wanting to try quilling...this tutorial is great for those interested.

Although these make great holiday presents, I think our winter skin
needsthe Crafty Scientists's lemon sugar scrub recipe! You most likely have the ingredients in your home, now, unless you are Carrie Bradshaw and use your kitchen cabinets to store shoes.

I love the little message before you post a comment! And thank you so much for featuring my lemon scrub - I'm pretty sure that if I have those ingredients in my cabinet, even Carrie should be able to find a couple of them... my cabinets might not have shoes, but I seriously have very few "kitchen essentials" and I could make it! : ) I'm flattered to be in such great company and thank you so much for hosting and featuring me - happy 2012!
