Autism on PBS: A new series sneak-preview

Please take a mere 15 minutes to look into a day in the life of a family living with autism…the series airs this week on PBS.

This is fascinating because it shows that autism isn’t a “mental” or “neurological” problem, but a systemic problem with GI, immune system, etc.  This child’s gut issues alone mirror my son’s issues.

Stunning. Really.

God bless all the families.

Thank you for sharing this. I wouldn’t have seen it otherwise. There needs to be more research, more time spent on autism spectrum disorders. It seems like it’s becoming an epidemic.

Wow…that’s all I can say…wow…I’m so proud of your strength to share your story just like this family did!

oooh thanks for posting the video!

I got a call yesterday from my mom saying my autistic brother got ahold of the phone while she ran out to the store real quick (hes 23 so he can stay home for short periods of time) and answered it. He had a full conversation with my aunt. like an actual conversation… i’m in awe. my mom finally believes the diet is helping! hooray! <3 I'm hoping he gets ahold of the phone again soon =) hehe sometimes he calls me and leaves silly voice messages telling me about what tv show he is watching and what movie he wants to see next <3
